Our approach
Our focus is on understanding and nurturing young people to allow them to feel safe and supported in a sincere home from home environment.
Therapeutic and psychological provision within Blossomcare NW will be at the heart of ongoing care. Psychological, social and emotional support will be encouraged by supporting and guiding the wider system around the young person. Children and young people who have experienced abuse, neglect, trauma, and distress have a complex range of difficulties, but it is vital to also recognise that this impact is individual and that a child’s capacity to grow and develop remains with them.
Following an approach of acceptance and empathy allows us to understand that given the complex history of our young people, they are doing the best they can.
What we do
We offer high levels of support and solo living to ensure all young people receive the support they need.
We strive to recognise and celebrate individuality and achievements to ensure young people are able to express themselves in a positive manner and develop the skills needed to take the next steps of their future journey.
Young people living at Blossomcare NW are encouraged to become involved in their care and future plans from the outset and remain at the core of everything we do.
