We provide solo home living for young people who may not be able to live with anyone else. This ensures their complex needs are able to be met fully on a day-to-day basis, enabling young people to take a step-up approach at their own pace when ready.
We offer a therapeutic environment, and a psychological provision that will draw on a range of evidence-based models to support consistent, therapeutic, and nurturing care provision including PACE (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, and Empathy; Golding, Hughes), ARC (Attachment, Regulation and Competency; Kinneburgh and Bluestein) and the concept of Relational Security (Interpersonal relationship between the child and their carer being the key component of supporting development, minimising distress, and managing risk).
Our care is consistent and supportive using acceptance and empathy to build a solid foundation within our relationships with young people.
We recognise and celebrate individuality and achievement working creatively to ensure all of our young people are able to express themselves in a positive manner and develop the skills needed to take the next steps of their journey.
We support young people in all areas of their progress including academic achievement and have excellent links with local education providers and alternative education provisions. Solo living provides the opportunity for at home learning if this is the desired and necessary approach for young people if an educational setting is not suitable.
If you have any questions regarding our residential childcare services, please get in touch with a member of our professional team so we can talk about it.
